INDEXING
TOOLS
The Jurnal Ilmiah Manajemen Agribisnis is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. This guideline is formulated based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and governs the behavior of all parties involved in the publication process: Authors, Editors, and Peer Reviewers.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, making the ethical conduct of all parties even more critical to ensure trust and integrity in the shared scholarly record.
Originality, Plagiarism, and Third-Party Material
Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is an original work and has not been published elsewhere.
All sources used (quotations, data, ideas) must be cited accurately and completely according to the journal's citation style.
Any form of plagiarism is unethical and unacceptable.
CCBY 4.0 Compliance: When using materials (e.g., images, tables, figures) from other publications, authors must secure all necessary permissions. The use of such materials must be compatible with the CC BY 4.0 license, and the original source must be attributed prominently, as required by both the license and academic standards.
No Multiple Submissions
Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is considered unethical publishing behavior.
Transparency and Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Authors must present research methods, data, and analysis transparently and honestly to allow for verification and replication.
All sources of research funding and any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed in the manuscript.
Authorship and Contribution
An individual should be listed as an author only if they have made a significant intellectual contribution. All significant contributors must be listed as co-authors.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript and agreed to its submission.
Protection of Research Subjects
For research involving human or animal subjects, authors must state that all procedures complied with relevant ethical standards and were approved by an appropriate ethics committee.
The privacy and confidentiality of research subjects must be protected.
Correction and Retraction
If an author discovers a significant error in their published article, it is their obligation to promptly notify the journal editor to correct or retract the article.
Fair and Objective Decision-Making
Editors evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual merit without bias.
Confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and potential reviewers.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Editors must not use unpublished material from a submitted manuscript for their own research without the author's express written consent.
Handling Ethical Violations
Any reported or suspected ethical violations will be investigated seriously, promptly, and fairly, following COPE flowcharts.
Licensing and Open Access:
The editorial team is responsible for ensuring that the published version of the article is clearly marked with the CC BY 4.0 license, granting everyone the right to share and adapt the work, provided appropriate credit is given.
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and helps the author improve the manuscript.
Promptness and Confidentiality
Any manuscript received for review must be treated as a confidential document.
Objectivity Standards
Reviews should be conducted objectively and supported by clear arguments.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Privileged information obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.
Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts if they have a conflict of interest.
Author Rights and Licensing: Upon manuscript acceptance, authors will be required to sign a Journal Publishing Agreement. This agreement grants the journal the right to publish the article but allows authors to retain the copyright of their work.
CC BY 4.0 License: All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This means anyone is free to:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
The only requirement is that users must give appropriate credit to the original publication, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. This credit must be in a manner that does not suggest the licensor endorses the user or their use.
Author Responsibilities for Third-Party Material: It is the author's sole responsibility to obtain permission to reproduce any third-party material (e.g., images, tables) that is not covered by the CC BY license or a compatible exception. The copyright holder must be made aware that the material will be released under a CC BY 4.0 license upon publication.
Closing Statement:
The enforcement of publication ethics is the cornerstone of integrity and trust in the academic world, especially in an open-access environment. The Jurnal Ilmiah Manajemen Agribisnis is committed to addressing any cases of ethical violations decisively and proportionally, in accordance with COPE.
By publishing in this journal, authors and readers agree that the work will be made freely available to the global community under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license, fostering greater sharing and advancement of knowledge.
We thank all parties—authors, editors, and reviewers—for their commitment to maintaining these high ethical standards.
